The Danish Railway Museum has its own tracks and station within the premises of the Museum.
We occasionally offer vintage train rides to our visitors on the Museum’s own railway section. Rides are included with the ticket price.
Anniversary trip with vintage train Odense-Fredericia 14 and 15 June
To mark our big anniversary weekend on 14 and 15 June, when we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Danish Railway Museum, we invite you to a very special experience: an anniversary trip on a vintage train from Odense to Fredericia and back – pulled by the iconic MY 1135 from 1957. We run two trips daily, and the trip lasts approximately two hours, including a 50-minute stop in Fredericia, where you can stretch your legs and see the locomotive before the journey back to Odense. Buy your ticket here (please note that the website is in Danish)
Travel with the vintage train at full steam on the museum's own track every Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the summer holidays.
During the summer holidays you can ride both the veteran train and the veteran bus

The Museum also offers vintage train rides around Denmark.
The rides on board the historical trains come to life when you listen to the stories about the places that we pass on the way and the places at which we stop.
